Salary / Day Rate: Equivalent to £90,000–£100,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Engagement: Agency Contract

About the Opportunity
Project Manager Finder is currently supporting a client organisation in North Warwickshire with the appointment of an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major leisure centre development.
The project is currently at the preliminary stage, with the successful candidate joining during the early phases of development and taking responsibility for driving the project through to successful delivery.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity, with the potential scope and project value still being finalised as the various elements of the development progress.
The Role
The successful Project Manager will take responsibility for the overall delivery of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards.
Working closely with the client, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders, you will provide strong project leadership throughout the construction and delivery phases.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day delivery of the leisure centre development.
Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Manage project costs, budgets and expenditure throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, issues and delays.
Ensure appropriate actions are taken to maintain programme and budget.
Support effective project planning and scheduling.
Provide regular progress updates to the client and relevant stakeholders.
Ensure construction activities are appropriately coordinated and managed.
Work within relevant CDM and construction requirements.
Ensure appropriate governance, documentation and project controls are maintained.
Liaise with the Borough Council and other stakeholders regarding programme and site requirements.
Help manage changes to scope, programme and project requirements as the development progresses.
About You
The client is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong construction background, ideally with experience delivering complex building or construction projects.
You should have:
Proven experience working as a Project Manager within a construction environment.
Experience managing construction or major building projects from early-stage development through delivery.
A strong understanding of CDM regulations and construction project requirements.
Experience managing project programmes, budgets, risks and stakeholders.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to coordinate multiple contractors, consultants and project teams.
Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of project cost control.
The ability to work independently and take ownership of project delivery.
Experience within the leisure, public sector or local authority environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
Working Arrangements
This is a fully site-based position in North Warwickshire. The successful candidate will be required to work on site throughout the project.
Working hours will be dependent on the construction programme and the site working arrangements established by the Borough Council.
