ITEX FOOD is a UK-based importer and FMCG sales agency, specialising in bringing high-quality food products from global manufacturers to UK retailers.

We create and develop brands specifically tailored to meet the demands of UK consumers and the expectations of major retailers.

With over 50 years of combined experience in UK retail, spanning ASDA, Morrisons, and Iceland, our team understands category dynamics and how to drive growth in-store.

We currently partner with leading retailers including Morrisons, Asda, Aldi, Iceland, Home Bargains, and Poundland. Through deep industry insight and strategic partnerships, ITEX FOOD delivers commercially successful brands designed for long-term success in the UK retail market.

Project Manager – Food & FMCG

Location: Chester (4 days office-based, 1 day WFH)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to break into the food industry and gain hands-on experience across product development, sourcing, and retail execution.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate artwork and packaging design for new product launches
Manage project timelines and critical paths for new product introductions
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers on existing product ranges
Support sourcing of new, trending products and global manufacturing partners
Assist with product setup and onboarding with retail partners
Track and monitor sales performance of launched products
Provide marketing support and coordinate with external agencies
Attend UK and international food exhibitions (occasional travel opportunities)
Who We’re Looking For

A self-starter with a passion for food and FMCG
Eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Strong organisational and communication skills
Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Previous experience in project coordination, FMCG, or retail is a plus—but not essential
